Gota Patti Bangle Latkan with Bell (Pack of 6)

Highlights

• A WHEEL OF GOLD GOTA ON A WRAPPED BANGLE RINGFlat gota lace strips are stretched across a wool-wrapped ring and meet at a star in the middle, so the light catches it and turns as it hangs. The wrap runs through blue, magenta, orange, yellow and green.
• THE BELL IS THE POINTAn embossed golden bell hangs at the bottom of every strand. It sounds when the door opens, which is what a bandhanwar is supposed to do, rather than sitting silent like a printed hanging.
• HANGS ANYWHERE, TAKES NOTHING WITH ITA small loop at the top means a nail, a hook or a length of thread all work. Light enough for a door edge, a window grill, a balcony railing or the sides of a pooja mandir.
• SIX PIECES, SO YOU CAN DO THE WHOLE HOUSEA pair frames the main door, a pair goes on the mandir, and the last two take the window or the balcony. Buying two at a time is how you end up with one lonely latkan and a doorway that looks unfinished.
• PUT IT BACK IN THE BOX AFTER THE FUNCTIONFabric, gota lace and beads, not fresh flowers. It comes out again for Ganpati, then Navratri, then Diwali, then the next wedding in the family.
