About this piece
A lotus pooja aasan in cream and terracotta, 24.5 cm across when open, for seating an idol, a kalash or a diya thali in a home mandir. Cream is the quieter of our two: it settles into a wooden or marble mandir and leaves the idol as the thing you look at. Each petal is cut and shaped in our workshop and the gold beaded border is stitched by hand around the edge, so no two open exactly alike. Folds flat for cleaning and storage, and arrives in a gift box with a woven label.
